Spring coming means.... Re-upholstering a 1950s Retro Chair

Cheer yourself up as these dark winter days shift towards Spring.. and transform an unloved chair.. 

Going to the local junk shop, the Sop Stationen in Malmo is a treat. These places collect or are donated things that would otherwise end up in landfill. Get there early to ensure you see the best on offer. I am always drawn by the ugly duckings, and on this visit this caught my eye... 

I choose this one because the springs and frame were in good condition, and it had that nice 1950's "wingey" shape.  I think that it is made by Dux although there is no mark on the frame. Design Addict have lots of help by the way if you need to identify a mid century piece... 

  

Quietly quite pleased with the outcome....
