| It will be a while before leaves appear on the trees around here, so for Easter we get coloured feathers and stick them onto branches... you only have to look out the window at the sleet to realize why. |
So.. in lieu of good weather we turn to traditional Easter pursuits of catching chocolate Easter bunnies and eating hot cross buns made by Mr Crazyhound. The sun light you see in this lovely photo is courtesy of a BIG flash and umbrella !
Seriously, after being tucked up indoors on Good Friday we plan to get out tomorrow to see part of the Kunstrunden, a wonderful Swedish tradition at Easter when artists open their homes and studios and set out work in large general exhibitions for us good folk to see. A map is produced by the local art society and you can work out a route, down twisty country lanes to find some lovely work and meet the artists. Better than a stuffy gallery any day. I don't anticipate the weather getting any better tomorrow, and perhaps in the end we shall follow Maggie's example ...

Thank you for the Easter greeting ! Just got back from the Kunstrunden and, yes we found some lovely artists, amazing workshops and villages. A lovely way to spend a snowy Easter.
