When you need a hand .. get an Embroidered Glove keepsake

I dyed this fabric last summer using a dye made from elderberries along the canal-side. The Dye was a wonderful dark colour, but in the fabric it translated into a much softer lilac dare I say ! Have thought about making this up for ages, but finally got around to it this weekend. Am quite happy with the result.
Vintage recycled tablecloth transformed into a Glove keepsake. Hand dyed using local elderberries and the tiny hearts were cut from Laura Ashley and organza remnants. Inside the glove is a little cloth bag containing lavender from the garden. All in all a home sourced job!
